Cambria County —
Sixteen-year-old Derek Kovach was shot at his Trout Street home in Jackson Township early Sunday morning. According to neighbors, the teen had a party at the house Saturday that continued into Sunday morning. Police say they believe the shooting was accidental, but they are not saying who shot Kovach. No one has been charged. Memorial Medical Center officials have not released Kovach's condition.
