ST.MARY'S, Pa. —
The third annual housing expo was held in Elk County on Thursday.
This year's event was held at Edgewood Hall in St.Mary's.
Organizers estimate 36 local businesses took part in the event.
The expo was organized by the Local Housing Options Team of Elk and Cameron Counties.
The expo gave area residents the chance to talk to local businesses about ways to improve their homes.
"It is designed for people in the community to come out it is a one-stop shop of things that are available for them in their community from local contractors ," said event coordinator, Sarah Grunthaner.
Organizers said the event was a success this year. They thank all of the expo's sponsors.
