By Rich Wisniewski

CLEARFIELD, Pa. —

The Clearfield County fair is one of the largest fairs in our region.

On average more than 100,000 people attend the week-long fair at the Clearfield County fairgrounds.

Every year fair week is kicked off with the fireman's parade throughout town.

The parade is also one of the largest in the area often lasting for about three hours.

Most of downtown Clearfield is shut down for the parade.

Monday night 6 News was in the parade where it wasn't just kids in line for candy.

People of all ages came out to check out the floats and fire trucks.

The parade started along Market street and ended at the grandstand on the fairgrounds.

The Clearfield County fair continues through Aug. 4.
