Tickets To See Michael Moore Are Going Quickly

State College —

If you are thinking about getting tickets to Michael Moore's speech at Penn State on Friday, you'll want to hurry because tickets are going fast.

The doors open at 8:30 p.m. and no cameras are allowed. A steady stream of people filed in to pick up tickets to see controversial Filmmaker Michael Moore.

Tickets were made available to the general public yesterday. Only students and faculty could get them beforehand. All 10,000 tickets are expected to be given out.

Moore's bias against President Bush in the movie Fahrenheit 9/11 has stirred controversy since his visit was announced several months ago. Most recently, a flap over student fees going to pay for his speaking cost lead to a challenge from conservative talk show Host Michael Gallagher promising to show up and raise more than the $30,000 fee for charity.
