Tires Slashed, Patrols Increase

Johnstown —

Neighbors in the West End section of Johnstown woke up Tuesday morning to find 10 tires slashed on their cars. One neighbor says the same thing happened last week only to 18 tires and some damage to one car. This is happening on Sheridan Street. The damage is estimated at around $2,000.

Michael Wasylyshyn is a neighbor. He tells Channel 6 News, "What can you do? Theyre in and out. They come. You don't know when they're gonna come. It's a problem. It's a big problem."

Neighbors say they've called the Johnstown Police who plan to step up patrols in that area.
