Township Prepares For More Rain

More rain is set to come Wednesday. Last week, Richland Township was hit hard by the rain and many homes and businesses were flooded. Now they are making sure they are prepared and flooding does not happen again.

Some stores at the East Hill Plaza in Richland Township were flooded. The stores were forced to close temporarily until water was pumped out of their businesses. Four roads were flooded.

The township cleared many of their drains that may have debris clogging them. Rian Barker, of the Richland Township Public Works Department, said clogged drains may have caused some of the flooding last Friday.
