A State College man will be tried on charges he raped and choked a woman.
Maurice Golden is scheduled to stand trial early next year.
The alleged victim testified Wednesday she was in a relationship with Golden when he allegedly raped her in early October.
The woman said Golden first choked her and then forced her to have sex. Golden is also accused of burning her with a cigarette.
During the hearing, the judge did agree to lower Golden's bail.
