Battling the bulge. It's a problem many Americans are trying to deal with, and now some local business leaders are joining the fight with their yearly look at the rising cost of health insurance.
The latest numbers from the health care industry show that 6 of the top 10 medical conditions in the Johnstown area are related to obesity. Plus, the top 5 prescribed medications are for obesity related illnesses -- such as high cholesterol. Health officials and business leaders say they need to work together to confront the obesity problem -- and in turn -- lighten the load of health care costs.
