Truck Driver Waives Preliminary Hearing

Bedford County —

A truck driver charged with driving his rig while high on cocaine, leading to a fatal accident on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, waived his preliminary hearing Wednesday. David Keiter, of Harrisburg, is charged with vehicular homicide while driving under the influence stemming from an October 22 accident, near Breezewood, that killed Philip Benham Jr., of Hollidaysburg. Keiter is currently free on bond.
