TRY IT THURSDAY: Steam Mate

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. —

On WJAC-TV's Try It Thursday segment, Julia Pizzonia and Janel Knight tested the Steam Mate.

Its makers claim the product will take wrinkles out of your clothes in just minutes.

The directions said to fill the dryer with clothes, fill the product with water and throw it into the dryer for just minutes.

After putting the Steam Mate in the dryer for 14 minutes, WJAC-TV gave it a thumbs down.

The clothes were still wrinkled and the instructions were too vague.
