Try It Thursday Tests Swivel Sweeper

This week's Try It Thursday puts the cordless Swivel Sweeper to the test.

But will the 360-degree swivel head sweeper pick up everything from dust to the big stuff as it claims?

The product, at 2 pounds, is lightweight and can run up to 45 minutes on a single charge. There's no bag to empty and it's easily maneuverable.

Our tester, Paul, has hardwood, tile and carpeted floors and said he needs to sweep up pet hair and dirt.

The sweeper did pick up potato chips, but tossed some of the mess around to other areas. On the hardwood floors, the swivel head got up close to the edge of the wall but didn't seem to get in the corner.

And after sweeping up three small messes, the dust tray was nearly filled.

"The tray is way too small. It would fill up way to quick for most messes around our house," Paul said.

Paul said for small messes, the sweeper would be OK, but he gave it a thumbs down for the big messes.

Don't forget, WJAC is always looking for testers for Try It Thursday. To be involved, please send a note to news@wjactv.com.
