Twin Rocks Girl Runs From Suspicious Car

TWIN ROCKS, Pa. —

Pennsylvania State Police reported a suspicious car in Twin Rocks, Cambria County after a 10-year-old girl ran home in fear.

Police said it happened on Tuesday around the First Street section of the small community.

The girl told police a man in a white van or box truck may have been following her after she got off the school bus.

She ran home and told her parents and that's when police began an investigation.

Police said they put extra patrols in the area, canvassed the scene and interviewed several neighbors, but didn't find any foul play.

The girl said no contact or even words were exchanged, but police weren't taking any chances.

Blacklick Valley School District Superintendent John Mastillo said they are aware of the situation and they're taking precautionary steps.

All school bus drivers were alerted and will be monitoring their routes.
