Twitter Comes To Rescue Of Stranded Biker

Some may consider Twitter to be a fad, but for a Philadelphia woman, it was a life saver.

While visiting her family in Connecticut, Leigh Fazzina took part in a mini-triathlon, which included biking over winding trails. At one point, she became lost and crashed her bike beyond use.

When no one heard her cries, she decided to tweet for help.

Within minutes, calls started coming in to local police from all over including California, New York City, and Chicago.

She was rescued a short time later.
