A Clearfield County man is dead after a night of heavy drinking. State Police in Clearfield say a friend and relative took the 26-year-old man to his Curwensville home after he became drunk at a bar. The man's name is not being released. Police say his family put him in a safe position but found him not breathing when they checked on him about two hours later. The man was pronounced dead at Clearfield Hospital.
And another Clearfield County man is dead after the tractor he was working on fell on him Friday. State Police in Clearfield say Charles Irwin of Osceola Mills was working at a garage in Morris Township when the tractor slipped off the jack.
