Union Reps React To Possible Paychecks

Unions from across the Alleghenies and state have been picketing over the past several weeks, demanding their full paychecks.

Mickey Sgro from the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, AFSCME, said it's good and bad.

Sgro said it's good that his employees are getting a paycheck but bad because agencies are still missing out on funding.

Governor Ed Rendell said he's willing to blue line, or agree to certain sections of Senate Bill 850 to pay the bills for state employees and the state.

If the house and governor pass the bill, state employees may start seeing pay checks next Friday or the week after.
