UPDATE: Fire Destroys Gas Station At Truck Stop

MUNSTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

At least a dozen fire companies were called out Monday morning to fight a blaze at a popular Cambria County truck stop.

The fire broke out at the Keystone Truck Stop in Munster Township around 10 a.m. The fire was contained to the Pacific Pride gas station section of the truck stop, which was destroyed.

A WJAC-TV crew at the scene said the fire was burning near the gas pumps. Crews had to bring in tanker trucks of water in the bitter cold to fight the flames.

The fire was under control by noon and there were no reported injuries.

UPDATE: The owner of the Keystone Truck Stop and Restaurant contacted WJAC-TV to tell us that they are still open after the fire. The fire did destroy the gas pump area of the business, but the owner tells us that the truck stop and restaurant will remain open.
