The Erie pizza deliveryman, who died in a botched ban robbery, has always been described as mild mannered. That is, until recently. The Erie Times News says Brian Wells was once arrested after neighbors, and a judge, said he threatened them repeatedly. Wells wanted the neighbors evicted, and even threatened to burn their house down in 1991.
Now, The Erie Times News is reporting that a one-minute clip, shot by a WJET-TV employee, has appeared on the Internet. Graphic video footage of the exact moment when the bomb around Wells' neck exploded has popped up in web journals and e-mails. The web site shows the entire video footage of Wells' death, and more. WJET-TV did not air the entire footage, but did choose to run a still photograph of the blast. Station officials aren't sure how the video was leaked onto the Internet. Wells was killed shortly after telling police that he was forced to rob the bank.
