Some Blair County residents are excited that there might be a new Wal-Mart locating near them. It's preliminary but Wal-Mart has made a presentation to the Bellwood Antis Township Planning Commission to put a Super Wal-Mart just off of the Pinecroft exit along Interstate 99. It could mean a lot of new jobs and for residents in the area it means a quicker trip to get the things they need. The presentation will be given again at a Supervisors Meeting in December. From there, the Supervisors will make sure local ordinances and laws are followed and then they'll make a decision.
