CRESSON, Pa. —
A K-9 unit, state police troopers and officers from across Cambria County were dispatched to the scene to help with the investigation.
Authorities confirmed reports with a WJAC-TV news crew at the scene that one man was taken into custody a short time after the deadly shooting.
Shortly before 10 p.m. on Friday, officials with the Cambria County coroner's office confirmed with WJAC-TV that the victim is a 50-year-old Sharon Choros.
Police haven't released the name of the man taken into custody or explained his connection to the shooting.
