BROOKVILLE, Pa. —
Bridge inspectors check on bridge maintenance and watch for signs of wear and tear.
Work at the county bridge in Big Run should be completed in a few weeks.
County officials said that project is running ahead of schedule.
They also plan to accept bids later this week for the South Penn Street Bridge in Punxsutawney.
Work on that bridge will include joint repairs and resurfacing.
Four other bridge projects are planned in Jefferson County over the next few years.
