FERGUSON TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

About 230 jobs are set to leave Centre County at the end of the school year.

The Jostens Inc. plant near State College will be relocating to a new, state-of-the-art facility in Clarksville, Tenn., officials said Tuesday. Officials with the popular yearbook company said some customer service and marketing jobs will remain in the Alleghenies.

Jostens representatives said the company will open a new production center in Clarksville, Tenn., and will move most of its operations out of Centre County by the fall.

The company will provide severance pay and outplacement services to those workers who are losing their jobs.
