Zoning Changes At Sani Dairy Site

Johnstown —

The Johnstown Planning Commission agreed to change the zoning at the old Sani Dairy site. Right now there are height and parking restrictions there. Once the Johnstown City Council approves the change those restrictions will be gone. The Commission Chair says the reason for the change is to allow Conemaugh's Technology Park to move in.

Wilfred Frombach, the Chair of the Planning Commission, tells Channel 6 News, From a C2 to a C3 there's no restrictions on the height of the building or parking areas. This way it's open. The hospital can build as high as they want to build

Johnstown City Council will hold a public hearing on this change in the next 30 days.
