About 660 students and Nittany Lions fans boarded 12 buses at the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park on Tuesday and headed to New York to cheer on the team.
Around 1,200 tickets were sold for the matchup and fans are pumped as the Nittany Lions inch closer to an NIT championship.
The buses won't be returning back to Penn State until around 4 a.m. Wednesday. If the Nittany Lions win against Notre Dame, they could play again on Thursday.
