Bucs Fall 4-3 To Giants In 13

(Pittsburgh-AP) -- Pokey Reese's error allowed the winning run to score in the 13th inning of Pitsburgh's 4-to-3 loss to San Francisco Wednesday night. The Giants scratched out the go-ahead run after Jose Cruz tied it with a three-run homer in the eighth. Pedro Feliz grounded to third baseman Aramis Ramirez with two on and one out, but Wilson's throw glanced off Reese's glove at second base, allowing J.T. Snow to score the winning run.

Craig Wilson had an R-B-I double and a solo homer while the Pirates were building a three-run lead. Jim Brower tossed two innings of one-hit relief to get his third win in four decisions. Julian Tavarez took the loss.
