(Houston-AP) -- The Houston Astros won their seventh straight today, beating the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-to-2 in Houston. Geoff Blum went 3-for-3 with an r-b-i and also scored the go-ahead run in the sixth on a wild pitch by losing pitcher Jeff Suppan.
Adam Everett added a two-run double and Ricky Stone pitched an inning of relief to push his record to 3-and-0. Houston swept the four-game series coming from behind in the last three. Pittsburgh got a two-run double from Brian Giles in the first but the Astros pulled even in the third on run-scoring singles from Blum and Jeff Bagwell. Suppan has lost three straight starts to fall to 4-and-3.
