Claysburg-Kimmel, the only remaining unbeaten team in the WJAC-TV coverage area, will take its 19-0 mark into the District 6 playoffs as its top-seed.

Claysburg in Class A, joins Ligonier Valley (17-1) in AA, and Bellefonte (16-4) in AAA, as the district's top teams for the postseason which begins Thursday, May 17 in Class AA and Monday, May 21 for Class A and Thursday, May 24 for AAA.

This season's Class A and AA playoffs feature some of the best teams in the state. In Class A, 2-seed Conemaugh Valley comes in with a record of 17-1, while in Class AA, both 2-seed Richland (14-1) and 4-seed Penn Cambria (15-1) boast one-loss records.

Defending state champion Philipsburg-Osceola is the 3-seed in Class AA, posting a 13-4 record.

All championship finals will be played Wednesday, May 30 at Penn State's Nittany Lion Softball Park at times to be determined.
