Altoona Curve outfielder Josh Bonifay posted a two hit night, including a solo home run (1) in the bottom of the second inning. Bonifay scored twice and knocked home three runs as the Curve (2-0) came back from a two run deficit on their way to a 10-3 victory over Portland on Friday night. The Curve used back-to-back four run innings in the fifth and sixth to pull away. Kevin Nicholson and Ray Navarrete both added 2 RBIs. Southpaw Mike Connolly (1-0) picked up the win allowing 2 runs in five innings, while striking out four. Altoona is back in action Saturday evening at 5:05 p.m. for game three of four against the Sea Dogs.
