Jeff Keppinger grounded into a double play but scored Gary Thomas in the top of the seventh to lift the Altoona Curve to a 1-0 victory over the Harrisburg Senators in Eastern League play Saturday night. The win snapped a four-game losing streak for the Curve (5-4). Bryan Bullington (1-0) got the win, allowing three hits in six innings with one strikeout and one walk. Elio Serrano earned his third save. Starting pitcher Jason Stevenson (1-1) took the loss for Harrisburg (4-4). Thomas led off the seventh with a single and Josh Bonifay's single to left was booted by Senators left fielder Juan Camilo. Thomas scored when Keppinger grounded into a double play. Bonifay was 2-4 for the Curve, while Pedro Liriano was 2-4 for the Senators. The one hour and fifty-one minute game was the shortest nine inning contest in Altoona franchise history. The Curve and Senators wrap up their series on Sunday, Landon Jacobsen will get the call on the mound.
