(Bowie, Maryland-AP) -- Three Baysox pitchers combined for a two-hit shutout today as Bowie rolled to a 2-to-0 shutout over the Altoona Curve.

Dave Crouthers allowed only two hits in seven innings of work -- retiring 14 straight at one point -- in just his second career start at the Double-A level.

D-H Mike Fontenot went 3-for-4, including a solo homer in the sixth that gave Bowie a 2-to-0 advantage.

Landon Jacobsen gets the loss after allowing eight hits and two runs in six innings of work.
