Gamblers taking two weeks off to regroup

CLEARFIELD, PA – While Gamblers Raceway Park is under new management, and racing action has been taking place all season, there will be a two-week hiatus to restructure the business plans.

This Friday, July 28, there will be no racing so track management can begin to reassess the 2006 season and finalize the plans for the remainder of the season.

There was no racing scheduled for Aug. 4 due to the annual Clearfield County Fair, but fans and drivers rest assured, there will be a return to racing action on SUNDAY Aug. 13 at the Bull Ring in Clearfield.

Plans are in the works to continue the 2006 season on Sundays, starting with August 13. Race time will be 6 p.m. As the plans to move to Sundays are finalized, the track management and staff is looking into the line-up system, the divisions that will run and possible special year-end races including the annual Throw of the Dice Classic.

As more details are finalized they will be released and posted on the website at www.gamblersracewaypark.com Stay tuned for current updates.
