High school hockey: Westmont vs. Somerset

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. —

The Laurel Mountains Hockey League down to the semi-finals, four teams being whittled down to two for Friday’s championship.

It was Westmont taking the ice against Somerset in the early game Thursday night.

No score in the first until Steve Spruell comes around the net and sneaks one through the legs of the goalie for the goal.  Less than a minute later, Steve Sujansky splitting defensemen all the way to the goal and flips in a backhand to go up by two.

They  kept piling it on.  Jett Smith of Somerset would add two more for a hat trick.

Somerset gets the win over Westmont 6-0. Somerset faces Johnstown in the Friday night finals.  The Johnstown Trojans won 4-3 over Richland.
