Hurricane Sandy is expected to cause havoc throughout the Mid-Atlantic and New England states, and local committees from the PIAA are already revising this week's postseason schedules for soccer and volleyball playoffs.

All District 6 soccer games scheduled for Tuesday, October 30 have been postponed and moved to Thursday, November 1. Same locations and times apply.

The Class A and AA championships, previously scheduled for November 1, will now be played on Saturday, November 3. All revised schedules are listed below.

The girls Class AAA sub-regional game will also be played on Saturday, November 3 at a site and time to be determined.

Both District 5 girls soccer games scheduled for Monday, October 29 have been rescheduled for Wednesday, October 31. Both games will be played at Somerset High School. The District 5 girls soccer championship will be played on Thursday, November 1, also at Somerset, with a start time to be announced.

All District 5 volleyball matches scheduled for Monday will now be played Wednesday. District 5-A semifinals and AA championship matches will be held Thursday, and the Class A championship will be held Saturday at a site and time to be determined.

All District 6 volleyball playoff matches scheduled for Monday have been pushed back to Tuesday, October 30 for the time being at the same times and locations.

No changes have been listed in regards to the District 9 soccer and volleyball playoffs, according to the district website.
