(Pittsburgh-AP) -- The Pirates have today off and will travel to Saint Louis tomorrow for a three-game series against the Cardinals.
Tomorrow will kickoff a six-game road trip for Pittsburgh, which is coming off a 5-to-2 win over the Brewers yesterday. The Pirates will meet Milwaukee again during the road trip.
Yesterday seemed to be a day of benchmarks. It marked the first time in eleven games that Pittsburgh's pitchers had not given up a home run.
Also, yesterday's 12 hits by the Pirates marked the seventh time in ten games they have collected at least ten hits. They are batting .300 as a unit in that stretch.
