Pirates Swept At PNC Park By Dodgers

(Pittsburgh-AP) -- Los Angeles scored four times over the final three innings of a 6-to-2 win over Pittsburgh.

Cesar Izturis (ihz-TOOR'-is) had three hits, including a run-scoring single that snapped a two-all tie in the seventh. Mike Kinkade followed with a solo homer in the eighth before Shawn Green capped the scoring with a two-run double in the ninth.

The Dodgers completed a three-game sweep while dropping the Pirates to 3-and-9 on their 12-game homestand. Pittsburgh has dropped five straight and eight of ten.

Kazuhisa Ishii held the Dodgers to two runs and five hits in six innings to move to 2-and-1. Jeff Suppan (SOO'-pahn) suffered his first loss after a 4-and-0 start, allowing three runs and six hits in seven innings.
