Bucs Sign FB Cook

Tampa, FL -- (Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed fullback Jameel Cook and placed fullback Byron Storer on injured reserve on Wednesday.Cook played with Tampa Bay from 2001-05 after being selected in the sixth round (174th overall) of the 2001 draft by the Buccaneers. For his career, which includes the past two seasons with Houston, he has 14 carries for 43 yards and 81 receptions for 486 yards and three touchdowns. Storer suffered a knee injury during last Sunday's game against Carolina. Also on Wednesday, the team signed fullback Ryan Powdrell to the practice squad and released linebacker Ben Moffitt.
