Bengals Bring Back DT Harris

Cincinnati, OH -- (Sports Network) - The Cincinnati Bengals have re-signed defensive tackle Orien Harris and waived veteran guard Scott Kooistra on Tuesday.Harris appeared in 14 games last season for Cincinnati and has 24 career tackles in 17 NFL games. This is his second stint with the club this season, having signed in October. He played in one game and was inactive for two others before being waived November 17. Kooistra, a seventh-year pro, appeared in three games this season on special teams. He started the year with the Bengals, was released on November 3, and was re-signed six days later. The Bengals also signed cornerback Antonio Smith to the practice squad. Smith takes the spot of fellow corner Geoff Pope, who was signed to the Philadelphia Eagles' 53-man roster earlier in the day.
