Steelers Bring In TE McHugh

Wednesday, September 3, 2008

(Sports Network) - The Pittsburgh Steelers signed tight end Sean McHugh to a one-year deal on Wednesday.

McHugh spent the past three seasons with the Detroit Lions and over 24 games with the team (14 starts), he totaled 20 receptions for 277 yards.

Originally selected by Tennessee in the seventh round of the 2004 draft, he was cut by the team after their training camp that year and was subsequently signed by Green Bay, where he spent the 2004 season and appeared in one game.
