Wild Place D Zidlicky On Injured Reserve

St. Paul, MN -- (Sports Network) - The Minnesota Wild placed defenseman Marek Zidlicky on injured reserve with an ankle injury on Wednesday.Zidlicky suffered the injury in an exhibition game against the Chicago Blackhawks on September 26, but the team decided to wait close to three weeks before putting him on IR. To replace Zidlicky on the roster, Minnesota recalled 20-year-old right wing Cal Clutterbuck from Houston of the American Hockey League. Clutterbuck played in 73 games with Houston last season in his first professional campaign, recording 11 goals and 13 assists. He also skated in two games for the Wild without scoring.
