Anaheim, CA -- (Sports Network) - Anaheim Ducks forward Joffrey Lupul is expected to miss 6-to-8 weeks following surgery to repair a herniated disc in his back.

Dr. Robert Watkins will perform the procedure Thursday at Marina Del Rey Hospital.

Lupul has 10 goals and four assists in 23 games this season for the Ducks.
