Centre County Gets First Female Common Pleas Judge

Centre County welcomed its first female common pleas court judge at a swearing-in ceremony on Wednesday.Judge Pamela Ruest is the first woman to sit on the Centre County Court of Common Pleas.Ruest will hear her first case on Jan. 14.Other officials such as borough councilmembers and county commissioners also took their oath at the ceremony.
