An Indiana County native is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with leading Republican candidate John McCain.

Vicki Iseman, 40, who is from Homer City, is a graduate of Homer Center School District and part of the class of 1990 at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Iseman obtained her degree in education and because one of the youngest lobbyists at her Washington, D.C. firm. Her clients range from cruise lines and universities to airports and broadcasters.

A New York Times article did not reference a romantic relationship between Iseman and McCain. The article stated that some of McCain's aides were concerned about the appearance of such close ties to a lobbyist.

McCain adamantly denies any inappropriate relationship with Iseman and said he would never do anything to betray the public's trust. He said Iseman was simply a friend.
