JOHNSTOWN, Pa. -- In the race for the White House, Barack Obama has opened a 15 point lead over John McCain in Pennsylvania.

In the WJAC-TV exclusive election poll conducted by SurveyUSA, Obama leads McCain 55 percent to 40 percent.

Compared to our poll released just twelve days ago, Obama is up 5 points, McCain is down 4. Among white voters, who make up 87 percent of Pennsylvania's electorate, Obama had trailed by 3, but now leads by 4 -- a 7-point swing to the Democrat.

Obama leads Wednesday among Pennsylvania men and women, young and old, rich and poor, more educated and less educated. McCain leads among Republicans, conservatives, pro-life voters, and gun owners.
