Chiefs' Knight Expected To Fully Recover; Share Your Get Well Wishes

Johnstown Chiefs General Manager Bill Bredin said he expects to see Mike Knight return to action, despite suffering what he called a spinal cord contusion and minor disc herniation after crashing into the boards during Wednesday night's game against Reading at the War Memorial.

Bredin said Knight is expected to be released from the hospital Friday. He will be out at least a couple of weeks, but a full recovery is expected. Bredin added that Knight has regained a lot of feeling and mobility.

Knight and Olivier Labelle were battling when Knight's momentum took him head first into the boards, but neither Bredin nor Knight felt there was any intent to injure on Labelle's part.
