Titans' Jones praises O'Brien for NFL readiness

Updated: Tuesday, May 20 2014, 12:39 AM EDT

NASHVILLE -- Tennessee Titans fourth round draft pick DaQuan Jones felt comfortable in his first NFL camp.

Jones, a four-year player at Penn State, said over the weekend during the Titans rookie mini-camp, that his first NFL practices went as he expected. Jones credited his last two years with the Nittany Lions for preparing him.

"Coach O'Brien ran NFL practices," Jones said. "Wrapping up and letting go of running backs, things like that during practices are what he instilled in us at Penn State."

Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt said he thinks Jones is versatile enough to be able to play all spots along the defensive line.
