Huskies, Red Devils Set For Saturday Showdown

Updated: Friday, September 27 2013, 12:18 AM EDT

EBENSBURG -- Their schools are separated by less than a mile, and Saturday night, Bishop Carroll and Central Cambria will play their biggest football game in the last few years.

Both teams take 3-1 records into their game at St. Francis' DeGol Field, which is a far cry from last year when each was looking for their first win of the season.

Bishop Carroll head coach Greg Snyder admits a win could give the Huskies a big boost on playoff position while Central Cambria head coach Bill Corrente claims his Red Devils haven't discussed the possibility of the postseason down the road.
