I love doing any stories that involve a new toy that is hitting the shelves. I am a kid at heart.
BEST INTERVIEW:
I interviewed Bob Ney right after he withdrew from the congressional election in Ohio in 2006. He only allowed two reporters to talk with him in the wake of his political situation. It was exciting to interview someone right in the middle of such a large political scandal.

I have wanted to be on television since I was 11-years-old, but when I was in college and was watching the coverage of September 11th, I realized that it wasn't just a dream, there was an incredible purpose behind it all.

Channel 6 News Reporter
I joined Channel 6 News in May of 2007 I grew up in Michigan in the suburbs of Detroit and traveled across "the mitten" of the state to Grand Rapids, where I attended college. I went to Grand Valley State University where I graduated with my B.S. in Broadcast News in December of 2005. While in college, I had the opportunity to work at two different news stations, one in Traverse City as well as one in Grand Rapids. Most recently I served as the Belmont County Reporter at WTOV9 in Steubenville, Ohio. Those experiences gave me the chance to do a little bit of everything from chasing down developing stories to operating a camera in the newsroom. I also served in various leadership positions for my sorority, Sigma Kappa and placed in the top five at Miss Michigan. When I am not working on my new home in Westmont, you can usually find me with my husband, Mark. We enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, running and shopping.
