Matt is the Weekend Sports Anchor and Weekday Sports Reporter at Channel 6. A native of Pittsburgh and raised both there and in Harrisburg, he is thrilled to still be in Pennsylvania covering the teams he grew up watching. Matt knows how passionate Western and Central Pennsylvanians are about their sports, and he looks forward every day to sharing that excitement with you.

Matt comes to WJAC from Syracuse University where he covered the OrangeMEN for the last four years. He was Sports Director for CitrusTV -- the nation's oldest and largest student-run television station -- and also served as a reporter, anchor, and producer while working there. He also interned at WTAE in Pittsburgh, WKTV in Utica, NY, and was a production assistant for NBC at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. The most memorable story Matt covered was the Syracuse basketball team's run in the 2006 Big East Tournament.

In his spare time, Matt still plays video games and watches a lot of TV. He also enjoys traveling, going to the gym and reminiscing when he was a half-decent basketball player.
