Matt joined WJAC as its Weekend Sports Anchor/Sports Reporter in June 2007. A native of Pittsburgh and raised both there and in Harrisburg, he is thrilled to still be in Pennsylvania covering the teams he grew up watching. Matt knows how passionate Western and Central Pennsylvanians are about their sports, and he looks forward every day to sharing that excitement with you.

Matt comes to the Alleghenies from Syracuse University. He was Sports Director for CitrusTV -- the nation's oldest and largest student-run television station -- and also served as a reporter, anchor, and producer while working there. The most memorable story Matt covered in Syracuse was the basketball team's run in the 2006 Big East Tournament. He also was a production assistant for NBC at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece.

In his spare time, enjoys traveling, going to the gym and reminiscing when he was a half-decent basketball player.
