Julia Pizzonia

Julia Pizzonia started at WJAC-TV in August 2009 as a reporter in the Cambria County newsroom.

She started her broadcasting career as a reporter for WDTV-TV in Clarksburg W.Va., where she covered many stories including the Sago Mine Disaster anniversaries and Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign visits.

Julia went to Point Park University and graduated with a B.A. in broadcast journalism. While in school, she was an active member of College Students in Broadcasting and worked for the "On The Point" magazine show. She also interned for KDKA-TV and WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh, learning from both the news and sports departments.

Julia was born and raised in Penn Hills, Pa., just outside of downtown Pittsburgh. She enjoys being with family and friends, skiing, playing Rockband and is a serious fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers.
