Police investigate Cambria Co. convenience store robbery

Masked man demands money

PORTAGE, Pa. State police at Ebensburg were investigating an armed robbery at a Cambria County convenience store early Wednesday morning.

Police said a man walked into the Sheetz store at the intersection of Routes 53 and 164 in
Portage around 12:45 a.m. and demanded money from the cashier.

Police said the man was wearing a mask and gloves and pointed a handgun at store employees.

The robber ran away from the store with an unknown amount of money, police said.

No injuries were reported.
