Changes coming in early 2014

By: Marc Stempka and PR Newswire

ALTOONA, Pa. -- Sheetz Inc. announced Wednesday that an agreement was reached with PNC Bank to provide in-store ATMs to more than 480 stores in six states.

In a release published by PR Newswire, Sheetz and PNC said the ATMs would remain surcharge-free.

"Our customers are busier than ever. They have more do to, less time to do it and as a result are looking for the most efficient ways to get what they need," said Joe Sheetz, president and CEO, Sheetz.

The agreement will include more than 40 machines with DepositEasySM capabilities that allow PNC customers to cash checks and deposit cash or checks without an envelope at any time, the release said.

The PNC ATMs will be installed during January and February 2014, the release said.
